VAST Platform 
Academic License Program

Instantiations offers a no-cost academic license of the VAST Platform to accredited educational institutions, including vocational/trade schools, colleges, universities, and individual students and teaching staff. Academic Licenses are for non-commercial purposes only.

Application Process

Submit an academic license application for the VAST Platform by emailing academic@instantiations.com with the following information:
  • Contact Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • School Name
  • Primary Location of School
  • School Website Link
  • Number of Students Using License
  • Instructional Time Period
Once your email application has been received, Instantiations staff will review the request and respond with either approval, denial, or a request additional information. If your request is approved, Instantiations will provide instructions to obtain your academic VAST software.

Please allow up to five (5) business days for processing of your request.

Usage of Academic License

If an academic license is approved, Instantiations grants you a non-exclusive license to use the VAST Platform (the Software).

You may:

  1. Install the Software on computers used solely for instructional purposes in your department, college, or specific University campus

  2. Make and install copies to support the level of authorized use, providing you reproduce the copyright notice and any other legends of ownership on each copy, or partial copy, of the Software.

You will ensure that anyone who uses the Software does so only in compliance with the terms of this Agreement. You may not transfer your license rights to another party without prior written consent from Instantiations.
