Select Left operand to apply a function or unary operator to the left operand you have specified in the Left operand field.

From the Left operand cascaded menu, select the function or unary operator you want to apply.

The Left operand field will be replaced with the expression that results from applying the function or unary operator to the left operand you have specified.
