To set the parameters of a connection to constant values:
1. Using mouse button 2 (or, for UNIX, mouse button 3), click on the dotted arrow representing the connection.
2. From the displayed pop-up menu, select Open settings.
3. From the displayed settings view for the connection, click on the Set parameters push button. The Constant Parameter Value Settings appears.
4. Type the constant parameter value(s) that you want to use in the field(s).
5. Select OK.
6. Select OK in the settings view for the connection.
