This chapter describes the Extended Widgets (EW) subsystem. The Extended Widgets classes and methods enable application developers to expand upon the graphical user interfaces built using the Common Widgets (CW) subsystem. Common Widgets provides a framework for developing custom widgets. The family of Extended Widgets discussed in this document was developed using this framework.
