Select Paste to load the mouse pointer with the contents of the clipboard.

After you select Paste, the mouse pointer takes the shape of a crosshair so that you can place the parts saved on the clipboard on the free-form surface. When you click a mouse button, you are choosing the position of the upper-left corner of the bounding box of the parts on the clipboard. (The bounding box is an imaginary box, the borders of which form the smallest area that fully contains the parts.)

If you Paste parts that you previously cut, the names of the parts are reused if possible.

If you Paste parts that you previously copied, VA Smalltalk gives the parts new names.
