Select Tools to help build and test the user interface of your application. VA Smalltalk has tools like Show Connections, Hide Connections, and Toggle Grid that enable you to determine the appearance of the free-form surface while you build your application.

These tools are also available from the Tool bar, which is just below the menu bar.

Some of the tools are also available from the pop-up menus of parts.
