When you create a part, you become its owner. An owner can release a part to its containing application.
A part owner assigns a new owner by doing the following:
1. Ensure that the team member you want as the new owner is a group member of the application that contains the part.
2. In the Organizer window, select the containing application, your part, and then select Owner > Change Owner from the full Parts menu. A window opens, listing group members of your application with the owner highlighted.
3. Select the name of the new owner.
4. Select OK.
