The parts palette provides you with the building blocks used to construct an application. Selecting a part and dropping it on the free-form surface adds that part to the part you are building.

After you select a part, you add one instance of the part to the free-form surface. If you want to add more than one instance of the part to the free-form surface, use Sticky.

The parts palette can contain the following types of parts:

Typically, a category contains parts that are similar in behavior or are used to perform similar tasks. For example, the Menus category contains parts such as menus, cascade buttons, and separators, which are used to construct menus in an application.
