Select a query

Use the Select a query window to specify the SELECT statement to be nested within the SQL statement clause you are currently working on.

If the SELECT statement you want to use does not exist, you can use this window to create it.

•Select OK to accept the nested SELECT statement and close the window.

•Select Create to create the SELECT statement you want to use.

Opening Select a query

You can get to the Select a query window from the WHERE Details or HAVING Details window by doing the following:

1. Make sure you have specified the left operand of the expression.

2. Make sure you have specified the operator of the expression.

3. From the Unary operator pull-down menu, select Right operand > Nested SELECT, and then the type of nested SELECT statement you want to use.
