The Category list shows the categories to which you can add your part. You can add your part to more than one category. The categories appear in the same order as on the parts palette. The default selection is the category currently selected on the parts palette.

If you want to create a new category for your part, you must first select Modify Palette > Add New Category from the Options menu.
